Roma women continue to face multiple discriminations in various spheres of life – from healthcare to employment and education, among others. In European society, there are barriers that prevent Roma women from influencing decision-making processes that most concern them.
Roma women have extremely limited opportunities to shape and evaluate policies that can impact their lives. The “Chirikli” Fund implements various measures aimed at expanding the rights and opportunities of Roma women interested in active participation in public or political life at the local self-government level or at the national level.
This collection aims to save 30,000 euros by December 31, 2025. If the “Expanding Rights and Opportunities for Women” program is terminated, the collected funds will be directed to the “Protection of Girls” program.
