The Roma Women’s Fund «Chirikli» announces the call for applications for the position of mediator within the framework of the School of Roma Activism and Leadership.

Who are mediators?

Mediators are representatives of Roma communities who, for more than ten years, have been carrying out an essential mission: building a bridge of trust between people and state institutions. Thanks to their work, communities gain better access to education, healthcare, administrative, and social services, while complex issues can be effectively addressed.

What opportunities will new mediators receive?

By joining the team, you will be able to:

• enhance your leadership and communication skills;
• become part of systematic work supporting Roma communities;
• act as a driver of change in your locality.

Who can become a mediator?

We are looking for candidates who:

• have strong connections with Roma communities;
• already cooperate or are willing to gain experience in working with local authorities, organizations, or services;
• are eager to be useful to their community and contribute to its development.
