Sharing Warm News

30/12/2024

Today, we share some heartwarming news:

In the city of Mukachevo, on the eve of the New Year, the Romani Women’s Fund “Chirikli” organized the distribution of food packages for internally displaced Roma. It was a special day when every family receiving the aid could feel care and support during the holiday season.

How Was This Made Possible?

This assistance is part of the project “Enhancing Capacity and Providing Support to Internally Displaced Roma in the Zakarpattia Region,” implemented with the support of our reliable partners – the German organizations SODI and Aktion Deutschland Hilft. Thanks to their help, it became possible not only to provide material support, but also to give people a sense of hope for a better future.

Heartfelt Gratitude to Partners and Mediators

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners and Romani mediators who help us overcome challenges and provide assistance precisely where it is most needed. Their contribution is invaluable, as they form the bridge connecting those who are willing to help with those in need.

Why Is This Important?

In times of trials, it is important not only to provide material aid but also to give a sense of support, attention, and care. Each food package is more than just food. It is a symbol of shared struggle, mutual support, and the belief that together we can create a better tomorrow.

Looking Ahead

The Romani Women’s Fund “Chirikli” will continue working on projects that improve lives. We believe that every act of help and support is a step towards a more just and equitable society where everyone feels like a part of a big family.

Together, we are helping to create a future full of hope, care, and opportunities for everyone!
