On October 25-26, 2017, the seminar “Utilizing Modern Technologies, Tools, and Methods in General Education Institutions Attended by Students of Roma Origin” took place. The event was organized as part of the ROMED program of the Council of Europe upon the request of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
The participants of the seminar included methodologists, teachers, representatives of Roma organizations, and Roma teacher assistants. Seminar attendees mentioned that they didn’t expect to learn something new, but they were pleasantly surprised by the amount of new information, materials, new experiences, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded colleagues that they gained from the seminar.
