Roma Entrepreneurship Support Project is ongoing!
The consequences of the pandemic and quarantine have significantly complicated economic activities within the Roma community. Many Roma families who had businesses and jobs have suffered losses or even lost their jobs recently. This has had a profound impact on the economic situation of Roma and greatly reduced their ability to meet basic needs.
That’s why we are assisting in the training of business facilitators who can provide advice and support for pursuing their own entrepreneurial initiatives. Special attention is given to the development of socially oriented businesses.
Thus, the project will contribute to the training of 10 qualified mediators in the field of business, and there will also be a selection of 8 entrepreneurs who will receive small grants of 30,000 UAH for entrepreneurial activities and short-term post-grant support from project experts.
The project is implemented with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
