The “Art Therapy for IDPs/Roma Children” project is a significant initiative aimed at providing psychological support to children who have faced challenges due to displacement or ethnic factors. This project ensures the stabilization of these children’s psycho-emotional state through art therapy, which is an effective means in combating stress and trauma.
Sessions were conducted in various cities across Ukraine, including Odesa, Mukachevo, Kropyvnytskyi, Lutsk, and Vinnytsia, indicating the project’s wide geographical reach and the organizers’ efforts to connect with a large number of children. These sessions not only help children overcome stress and anxiety but also promote the development of their creativity and self-expression through art.
The children actively participated in painting, using a variety of paints and materials to express their emotions and thoughts. These activities are part of our commitment to provide support and create a safe space for self-expression for children experiencing difficult times.
Art therapy sessions are crucial in creating a positive environment where every child can feel heard and seen.
