On January 31, 2013, a meeting of the Working Group of the foundation took place

On January 31, 2013, a meeting took place at the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, facilitated by the Laboratory of Language Learning of the Russian Language and Languages of Other Ethnic Minorities. The meeting involved representatives of Ministries and local authorities in collaboration with the NGO “Chirikli”.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Social Policy, including the Department for Family and Children, the Department for Social Integration of Homeless Citizens and Other At-Risk Groups under the Department of Social Services, and the State Employment Center. Representatives from the Department of National Minorities of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Diaspora of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, and the Department of Family and Youth of the Kirovohrad City Council were also present.

The following topics were discussed:

1. The results of the work of Romani medical intermediaries.
2. The re-establishment of the expert group for promoting the mediator program at the national and local levels.
3. Collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and other Ministries regarding the development of an Action Plan for the implementation of the Romani National Strategy.

Specifically, issues related to Romani access to medical and social services, education, employment, and registration were discussed.
