August 20, a regular meeting of the Alliance for Gender-Sensitive and Inclusive Recovery, of which the Roma Women’s Fund “Chirikli” is a member, took place.
In his opening remarks, Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Coordinator of the Platform for Ensuring Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion in Recovery, emphasized that addressing issues of equality and inclusiveness is a key principle of Ukraine’s recovery. This approach must be mainstreamed across all areas.
The Deputy Prime Minister underlined that the Alliance should become an effective platform for uniting the efforts of government, civil society, and international partners in the recovery process.
Participants paid special attention to the importance of developing the Alliance’s Roadmap of activities, which will serve as a practical tool for coordination and implementation of tasks.
It should be noted that the Roma Women’s Fund “Chirikli” actively participates in civil society platforms, particularly in the process of implementing the Rule of Law Roadmap. For our organization, it is essential to be part of processes that shape policies of equality, inclusion, and legal protection in Ukraine.
