Today, a meeting took place between representatives of human rights organizations and Oleksandr Ilkov, Head of the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
The purpose of the meeting was primarily to establish cooperation and discuss the consultation process between government bodies and civil society in the context of Ukraine’s preparation for accession to the European Union. Participants also shared their recommendations regarding the Rule of Law Roadmap.
The Roma Women Fund “Chirikli” was represented by Yulian Kondur, who emphasized the importance of implementing the Action Plan on National Minorities and creating the institution of Roma advisors within government bodies.
We express our sincere gratitude to “Zmina” for organizing the meeting and to the Government Office for their openness to dialogue.
We also invite you to read the joint statement of civil society organizations working in the field of human rights regarding participation in consultations with the Government of Ukraine on the country’s path to EU membership.
