Helping Roma families in Mukachevo

14/02/2025

On January 25-26, an important humanitarian initiative took place in Mukachevo. Large families, young women with children, and people with disabilities received essential aid, significantly easing their daily lives.

During the distribution of humanitarian aid, people received:

  • Diapers for babies to ensure comfort for the youngest family members;
  • Hygiene products to maintain cleanliness and health;
  • Diapers for people who cannot move independently, making their daily routine more comfortable.

This support was made possible through the implementation of the “Strengthening Capacity and Providing Assistance to Internally Displaced Roma in the Zakarpattia Region” project. It is carried out with the support of our reliable partners – the German organizations SODI and Aktion Deutschland Hilft.

We are proud that even in difficult times, we can stand by those who need it the most. Our goal is not only to provide material assistance but also to create an atmosphere of support and care. Even small steps in this direction can make a big difference for many families.

A huge thank you to our mediators who work directly on the ground and help coordinate the process! Your dedication and daily work make this world a better place.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Rada Kalandia for her tireless efforts, organizational skills, and personal contribution to helping people! We sincerely appreciate and highly value your work!

Together, we can achieve more! Together – for change!
