Humanitarian Aid to Internally Displaced Roma in Zakarpattia Region

Since December 2023, we have been providing monthly humanitarian aid in the form of hygiene kits to internally displaced Roma in the Zakarpattia region. What makes our assistance unique is our individual approach to each recipient! 💙

  • For the youngest (newborns and small children) and their mothers, we offer special kits.
  • Separate kits are available for elderly people and those with musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Girls and women receive necessary personal care items, and there are home kits tailored to the needs of those with allergies. 🌿

All of this takes place in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo, where our mediators distribute the kits 👐

The Project and Its Support

This humanitarian aid is provided free of charge as part of the project “Strengthening the Capacity and Providing Assistance to Internally Displaced Roma in the Zakarpattia Region” in the cities of Uzhhorod and Mukachevo. The project is implemented by the Roma Women’s Fund “Chirikli” with the support of the German organizations SODI and Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
