The Roma Women’s Fund “Chirikli” was honored to be one of the sponsors of the 2025 “Created by Women” Awards Ceremony — an event that celebrates women who not only build businesses, but also transform entire communities and shape a new reality in Ukraine.
Since 2004, “Chirikli” has consistently worked to strengthen the role of Roma women in Ukrainian society. This includes access to education, healthcare, leadership development, and participation in decision-making processes. We firmly believe: when a woman has a choice, she changes not only her own life — but the future of her community.
We believe that entrepreneurship is about more than profit. It’s about self-realization, independence, and the right to be heard. Supporting women entrepreneurs drives broader societal transformation — promoting gender equality, economic resilience, and visibility of women in public life.
For our team, gender equality is not a slogan — it’s daily work. It means striving for dignity, equal opportunities, and justice — for Roma women and for all women across Ukraine.
