The two-day International Conference “Enhancing Community Legal Empowerment” took place in Kharkiv. The Roma Women’s Fund “Chirikli,” an NGO, also had the opportunity to present the program of Roma social-medical intermediaries during the session “Resolving Legal Issues Without Lawyers.”
Conference participants had many questions and expressed interest in the program of Roma social-medical intermediaries, which has been implemented in Ukraine since 2010. The project is carried out with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Open Society Institute (Hungary).
