Participation of the Roma Organization at the OSCE’s Key Human Rights Event

Every year, the Roma human rights organization “Chiricli” takes part in the Warsaw Human Dimension Conference — one of the most significant international events of the OSCE dedicated to human rights, tolerance, and non-discrimination.

This year, the conference brought together representatives of OSCE participating states, international institutions, intergovernmental organizations, and civil society from over 50 countries worldwide.

Key Events with Chiricli’s Participation

The Chirikli team joined several major sessions and discussions during the conference, including:

  • a plenary session on tolerance and non-discrimination;
  • a side event titled “Exploring Achievements and Challenges of the Past and Present: What Lies Ahead for the Future of Roma and Sinti Human Rights in the OSCE Area”;
  • a film screening and panel discussion “That Boy: A Conversation About Hate and Healing”.

The Voice of Roma Communities in the European Discourse

During the presentations, Chiricli representatives highlighted the key challenges faced by Roma and Sinti communities in the OSCE region and shared best practices for advancing Roma rights both in Ukraine and beyond.

A Platform for Dialogue and Action

The Warsaw Human Dimension Conference 2025 is not only a gathering of international experts but also a powerful platform for dialogue, where the voices of those defending equality, dignity, and human rights are heard.

For “Chirikli,” participation in this conference marks another step toward strengthening partnerships and developing joint initiatives in the field of human rights.
