Social and educational centers for IDPs and Roma IDPs children and teenagers in Ukraine
In August 2025, the International Charitable Organization Roma Women’s Fund “Chirikli” continued its active work in social and educational centers in the cities of Lutsk, Kropyvnytskyi, and Odesa. Children and teenagers among internally displaced persons, including the Roma community, had the opportunity to participate in various activities: educational classes, creative contests, excursions, and trainings. An atmosphere of support, growth, and care — that’s how August went in these safe spaces.
The initiative is implemented by the Roma Charitable Organization “Chirikli” thanks to funding within the program Children’s Resilience Fund: Providing Capacity Building and Funding to Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations. The program is carried out by Crown Agents in UA and Integrity Action.
