The coalition of Romani civil society organizations, together with the International Renaissance Foundation, organized a roundtable meeting on the topic: “Discussion of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy for the Protection and Integration of the Romani National Minority into Ukrainian Society for the Period up to 2020.”
Approximately 50 participants took part in the event, including representatives of ministries, departments, regional authorities, Romani, and international organizations.
The purpose of the event was to discuss the draft Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy, provide suggestions and remarks on it, as well as discuss possible mechanisms for cooperation between Romani organizations and state authorities in the process of implementing the aforementioned Plan.
The event was held within the framework of a project supported by the United States Embassy’s Fund for Democracy Support in Ukraine.
